• Electric Eels swim club meets at WLC on a Saturday from 5.30 to 6.30pm and aims to teach children with Down Syndrome to swim competitively

• We were wondering whether any of your club members (aged13+) would wish to volunteer to help 1:1 with our members
• We are losing 8 volunteers this summer who are off to university
• If volunteers show a committment over a term and wish to offer a further 6 months, the club could fund ASA L1 training
• Volunteering helps university applications
• We are also looking for a swim coach - with a bit of experience - if you know of anyone.
• We have one swimmer who may be selected for GB soon and we'd like to give him a really good chance.
• Swimmers travel from Hertford, Newbury, Ealing and even the Isle of Wight.
