A Web site has now been created www.tvjl.org.uk to provide clubs with all of the summary and detailed information

Important changes from previous status email

·         Venue change for Round 2 – Maidenhead will now host Round 2 at the Magnet Leisure Centre, Maidenhead (note warm-up will be 6.30pm)

·         Venue change for Round 3 – unfortunately the Magnet was not booked for Mar 29^th as most of us thought during the Sep AGM (and is now unavailable), however Reading have kindly stepped in to host the final

Status on venues (hosts) for galas

·         Round 1 - Newbury (Newbury) and Reading (Reading) CONFIRMED for Round 1 galas – Jan 19^th

·         Round 2 - Amersham (Chesham) and Maidenhead (Maidenhead) CONFIRMED for Round 2 galas – Feb 9^th

·         Final - Newbury (Newbury) and Reading (Reading) CONFIRMED for Finals galas – Mar 29^th

New rules (from last year)

·         Age (9,10,11,12) is now ‘age-on-day’ as of Round 3/Final (Mar 29^th, 2008) and no longer Dec 31^st.

·         9yr medley is confirmed to include fly (so, Back, Breast, Fly, Free).

·         9yr swimmers can only ‘swim up’ to 10yr relays.

·         League points awarded per gala, and no longer across galas
