The South East Regional BAGCATS Championships for girls age 10-13 and the boys age 11-14 started this weekend at K2 in Crawley. These championships will end after a further 2 days of racing on the 13 & 14 June. The young swimmers from Windsor Swimming Club competed well against some tough competition from the Southeast of England. In particular the Girls 4x100meters medley team; Lucy Campbell (12), Florence Claringbold (13) Cassie Pratley (12) and Alexandra Kaye (12) swam superbly and secured a bronze position in a line-up of 21 club teams. Lucy Campbell is still on good form and swam a Personal best time in the 100m backstroke event winning a bronze medal. 11 year old Rebecca Dutfield competing for the first time at regional level just missed out on a medal in the 100m freestyle event finishing 4th.
