Our Goals and Achievements

We are a competitive club and our aim is to produce swimmers who are capable of competing at the highest possible level. To achieve this we have a structured teaching and coaching programme which starts with the 6 year old beginner and sees our swimmers progressing to County level at 10 years and at National level at 11 years.

Our aim is to ensure that all our swimmers enjoy their sport to the best of their ability and they become competent swimmers and for those who decide to enter competitions, to provide the best training and support to help them reach their goals.

Windsor has an outstanding record of achievement, resulting two years ago in the competitive swim squad being promoted to the Premier Division of the Speedo League. Our Juniors are Thames Valley Champions for 2000, 2001. 2002. 2003, 2004 and 2005. Thirteen Windsor swimmers reached the National Championships at Ponds Forge during the summer, and four of these have been selected to participate in the ASA's World Class talent programmes.

WSC is affiliated with SCASA (Southern Counties Amateur Swimming Association) and the Berks and South Bucks ASA who in turn report to the overall governing body, the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), sometimes called 'British Swimming'.
