Club Rules and Constitution

Swimming Committee:

  1. The Swimming Committee shall be responsible to the Management Committee, on behalf of the Club, for all swimming matters.
  2. The Swimming Committee shall consist of the Chairman, Hon. Secretary, Club Coach, Head of Teaching/Development, Fixtures Secretary, Club Team Manager, Club Representative, Senior Girls Captain and Senior Boys Captain.

  3. The Swimming Committee shall maintain a set of Swimming Committee ‘Terms of Reference’, consistent with the Rules and Constitution of the Club, to define day to day running procedures and other matters within their jurisdiction for the use of Committee members.

  4. Provisions shall be made within the ‘Terms of Reference’ to Co opt up to three members as circumstances require, members so Co opted shall have full voting powers.

  5. The Management Committee shall approve the ‘Terms of Reference’ and provide copies to all Management Committee members.

  6. The Swimming Committee shall keep detailed minutes of all meetings and distribute copies to all Management Committee members in advance of the next Management Committee meeting.
