The Head of Teaching/Development shall be responsible to the Management Committee.
The Head of Teaching/Development shall not hold any office within the Club, nor be eligible for election to the Management Committee.
The Head of Teaching/Development may, upon invitation, attend Management Committee meetings but shall have no voting power.
At all times the Head of Teaching/Development shall act in the best interests of the Club, with respect to swimming matters and within the terms and conditions legislated by the County, District and National ASA organising bodies, and the Club Rules and Constitution and in accordance with the ASA Code of Ethics.
The Head of Teaching/Developments responsibilities with respect to the implementation of teaching, training and coaching of the Beginners, Improvers and Pre Competitive Groups and all associated matters shall be defined in a ‘Job Description’ which may also be used for the basis of a contract between the Club and the the Head of Teaching/Development.
Renewal, Termination and all other matters relevant to contracts shall be the responsibility of the Management Committee.
