Club Rules and Constitution

Club Coach:

  1. The appointment of the Club Coach, who may be remunerated on a professional basis, shall be the responsibility of the Management Committee.
  2. The Club Coach shall be responsible to the Management Committee.

  3. The Club Coach shall not hold office within the Club, nor be eligible for election to the Management Committee.

  4. The Club Coach may, upon invitation, attend Management Committee meetings but shall have no voting power.

  5. At all times the Club Coach shall act in the best interests of the Club, with respect to swimming matters and within the terms and conditions legislated by the County, District and National ASA organising bodies, and the Club Rules and Constitution and in accordancewith the ASA Code of Ethics.

  6. The Club Coach’s responsibilities with respect to the implementation of training, coaching and all associated matters shall be defined in a ‘Job Description’ which may also be used for the basis of a contract between the Club and the Club Coach.

  7. Renewal, Termination and all other matters relevant to contracts shall be the responsibility of the Management Committee.
